• " There were a lot of bugs in the room, the paint was peeling in every room (and I was concerned that it mostly likely was lead paint), the room had a foul odor, there was a half used douche in the cupboard under the bathroom sink when I checked in, the TV didn't have cable or a working remote (most of the channels were black and white and fuzzy), there was no phone book in the room, the towels were paper thin and smelled, the toilet didn't flush well. The staff was extremely accommodating and friendly. Although the room met my needs by having a refrigerator and microwave. "

• " Not too noisy, hotel staff missing most of the time although I did not need them. Could have better signs for ice machines, etc, could have a list of local restaurants. "

• " I would not recommend staying in this hotel unless you don't have a nose, or your are not sensitive to smoke. (Like say you a 5 pack smoker a day.) Everything stank of smoke. It was so bad that we went out and got candles to help with the smell. We also noticed that there was a church under the hotel and a lot of foot traffic on the landing next to our room. We also asked the front desk where to eat and what was nice and he said that he just moved there and he knew nothing about the area. The bath rooms need to be updated the grout was falling out of the tub. We defrosted the fridge in our room because you couldn't use it until then. Over all I would not recommend staying here. Stay in Herkimer its only 3min away! "
