Albany - Days Inn Schenectady

This unit is adequate in the absence of any other reasonable alternative. I would not want to stay there for an extended period of time.

My review will change nothing so it does not matter.

Windows didn't lock and the management screwed them shut! Scary people outside in the parking lot at all hours, and my brother, who lives in a nearby town, said that it was an extremely high crime area, shootings, drugs, etc.

We had reservations for two non-consecutive nights at the Days Inn. We stayed for the first night, but had the second one canceled due to burst water pipes. As I was traveling alone with two small children, finding out upon arrival that our reservation was canceled was slightly frustrating. We ended up paying for a 3 star hotel across the street because we needed a place to stay.

This definitely way the worst hotel stays in my life. Please remove this hotel off your lists of hotels. You will get the same respond. Not wheelchair friendly for my wife or anyone else. No help from the front desk for the disabled. They had handicap parking but no accessibility. The room was falling apart some lights did not work. Bathroom full of mold, towel rake was falling off the wall and the toilet paper holder was broken. The coat rakes in the. Room entrance was also falling off the wall. The rooms around me were having a very loud party, smoking dope and very bad language. When I tried calling the font desk at 12:10 am and 1:30am there was no answer. Maybe they were at the party also. Never got to sleep until about 3:00 AM with the heater on as high as possible to over take the noise. Please do not recommend this hotel to anyone.
