• " The tone for our visit was set when we walked into the hotel's restaurant, which was empty of customers. The staff was talking together, and only when we asked did they suspend their conversation to grudgingly acknowledge our presence and request. Other than that, there was nothing really wrong with this hotel, but then there was nothing really right, either. "

• " The overall condition of the hotel rooms & common areas was a bit rough around the edges but definitely acceptable. The free airport shuttle was a great service. I did not use the pool, but from what little I saw it looked pretty nice and would probably be a major plus for people traveling with kids. The high and low points were with the staff. I had a family function to attend and on the day I realized I forgot to pack a tie or cuff links. The guys at the front desk that morning assisted me and could not have been more helpful. I was truly astounded by help. In contraction with my experience the next day with another manager who seemed reluctant to do anything ingratiating without a hassle. Maybe he was just having a bad day, but I sensed he might be that way all the time. Overall I'd say that if you need to be in the Amherst area, this is a fine place to stay. "

• " I have stayed in many hotels over the years in the military and as a civilian. This hotel was one of the worst I have been in. I would rate it as a 1 star at best. There were long black hairs in our bathroom, on everything in the room. The showers (we had 2 rooms) had mold in them. Very low quality bathrooms. The Jacuzzi was very dirty. The pool has broken pieces of pipe coming out of the side. Thankfully we had a nice time at the falls but I would never go back to that hotel again. "
