Definitely not recommended! The staff is not well trained. Initial room provided was not clean. Second non-smoking room smelled of smoke and staff denied it did. Other guests were given keys to our room and walked into room after we already checked. I was charged for an additional night stay even though I had already paid for 2 nights. The staff said I did not. Food at the breakfast buffet was very stale and inedible. Staff stated to me and others guests that it was not their fault and implied that our expectations were not valid. Knocking on the table with the hardened stale bagel and Danish impressed my point but brought no resolution. Definitely not recommended!

My husband and I were very annoyed by the fire drills at all hours of the night and early morning during our stay. The hotel staff did not have the decency to inform the guests on my floor that the maintenance crew was "just testing" the alarm system, and so each time we heard the alarm, everyone evacuated. It wasn't until the 4th alarm that we learned they were "just drills¿. And the reason we found out was because I called the main desk to see what was going on. The hotel had all their guests standing outside in a panic. We were all very annoyed with that. I don't mind them checking the system, but they could have at least told the guests not to be alarmed. Also, the service in the Japanese restaurant was very poor. My husband and I waited for at least 25 minutes just for someone to take our drink order. The food came out fairly quick and was very good, but no one ever came back to check on us. We would have ordered another drink or two and I could have used a fork and knife (I¿m not that good with chopsticks). After sitting there staring at our empty glasses and dirty plates for another 20 minutes after we finished, we had to flag down a worker just to get our check. It was not a friendly environment by any means. Plus, the trip/dinner was supposed to be a nice getaway to celebrate my husband¿s birthday and between the alarms and the service at the restaurant, I was highly disappointed.
