I wanted to take my family (wife and 3 young children) with me to a conference in Providence, and decided to stay about 9 miles outside the city and commute in daily. What a great choice Homewood Suites by Hilton turned out to be! The staff was extremely friendly and helpful throughout our stay. The room was excellent, very clean and spacious. The morning breakfast buffet was more than expected, and they also serve a small evening meal Monday to<BR/>Thursday. The pool and Jacuzzi were also hits with the family. A great room at a great price!

I think the hotel is family friendly. I especially appreciate the kitchenette for my youngest is on a special diet. The pool is perfect for young kids going up only to 4 ft. Both the breakfasts and dinners are good. The waffle maker is a big hit! Beer and wine is also a nice touch for the adults.

Overall the hotel was great, and exceeded our expectations. The room size and layout was great. The bed was very comfortable with lots of pillows. There was a bug in the bathroom when we got there, and then we found maybe 6 or 7 small bugs on the walls/ceiling that looked like silverfish or something. Not sure why that was. Breakfast was great; waffle iron was a great bonus. Nicely decorated all the way around.

This hotel is very overrated for the money. The Marriott Spring Hill Suites is a much better and very clean and comfortable!
