• " The hotel was far from the Historic District. We had to take a taxi to the down town area, which is not what I wanted to do. I wanted to walk to restaurants and shopping. "

• " It is necessary to walk up a flight of stairs to get to the lobby. The restaurant is closed for renovation, with no good eating alternatives nearby. Property is not located downtown, but about 2 miles from downtown. Very close to the medical center. <BR/> "

• " Hotel was a pleasant surprise for a moderately priced hotel, nicely decorated and very clean rooms. It was great to have a big screen TV. I did not anticipate this. The staff was very pleasant. The Historic District is actually hotel alley, lots of them surrounding the Best Western we stayed in, no sight of old Charleston. However, all in all, a great place to stay in. "
