• " The proprietor was decent enough (manager, I guess) he is from India and therefore, a slight language barrier existed. The hotel was decent, but they were not able to upgrade our room we are larger people and needed more than the 2 double beds, it was $10. More and we'd have had no objection if the hotel had been near capacity, but it wasn't nearly full. "

• " From the moment of our arrival, I wished that we had stayed at the holiday inn express, only about 5 miles down the interstate. Four weeks earlier we stayed at the holiday inn express, and the rooms were clean, updated, and comfortable. Check-in took less than a minute. The la Quinta was just the opposite. The person at the front desk must have been re-programming the computer for the 20 minutes it took for her to check us in! When we finally got into the room, it smelled of mold. The bed spread and linens were old and outdated, and the towels were thin. Overall, this was not a pleasant stay. "
