• " I didn't expect much from this hotel considering the rate we paid. However, there were problems beyond the lack of luxury. We stayed on the second floor where the floor of the room was very uneven. This was not bad carpeting, rather warped sub flooring. The wallpaper was peeling in several places, and the bathroom door would not close. Even if you held the bathroom door closed there was a visible gap of at least 1/2 inch that you could see through. The shower curtain rod was falling down with only about half of the needed screws securing it. Finally, during our four night stay, the toilet never flushed properly. Each morning, before leaving the room, we would call the front desk to let them know about the toilet. Upon returning at night the problem would seem to be solved, but was only good for one flush. Given that we were on a very budget minded business trip, the hotel served its purpose in giving us a place to sleep and shower for a reasonable rate. However, we will be looking for other accommodations the next time we are in town. "

• " The "continental breakfast" was sparse. The refrigerator in the room made a loud humming noise, so we unplugged it. So we could get some sleep. The air conditioning also made noise during the night. I know it was a smoking room, but I didn't expect it to smell like stall smoke. "
