The hotel is lovely and our room was nice. The restaurant looks nice, but eat somewhere else unless you just need nourishment.

Overall, I was very impressed with this hotel. The facilities were all modern, clean, and attractive. The hotel is an easy trolley ride to Beale St and other attractions. The staff was helpful. Could not get the room to a comfortable temperature, though. It was either stuffy or freezing (thank goodness for the down comforter)! Also, the bar staff seemed shady when it came to drink prices, which were overpriced! Overall, though, I would absolutely go back to the Downtown Marriot.

This hotel was great, it was close to the attractions we wanted to see. Bell staff was very helpful. My only problem was the parking. People with large SUV had no where to park.

Overall was not a bad stay. But for the star rating of the hotel I was disappointed. Pool area was terrible. Table by the elevator on our floor was dirty the entire weekend. Buttons and doors of elevator were scratched and dented. While I can get wireless internet in my room at almost any mid range hotel this place only had it in the lobby and wanted $12.95 a day for wired in the room. I drew a low single from the crown plaza across the street and was able to use wireless in the room. $12.95 a day to park at the hotel as a guest. What is that about? At a 3 star hotel I shouldn't notice the little things.
