• " The first room was dirty: the bed was unmade - looked like someone had just gotten out of it (and this was at 3:30 PM); there were dirty soda cups on the night stand, etc. When I went to the office and told them, they acted as if they thought I was lying. I'm sure in its Heyday; this was an excellent hotel as it was in downtown Abilene. "

• " If you need a place to stay and you're on a budget, this is a good place. However, the room was always clean and the staff was always friendly. The other big plus is the hotel's proximity to downtown Abilene. It's nice that the hotel offers WiFi, but something should be done to strengthen it. Overall, not a bad place, but not a hotel I'd want to stay for longer period. "
