• " The front desk was wonderful, when we first checked in, they told us we were not in a great room, and they did everything possible to get us into a better room, one that had been recently renovated. The front desk clerk even walked us (personally) next door to a near-by restaurant (Restaurant Eve) located behind the hotel to make sure that we could get a table for dinner (even though it was late - 9 pm and the restaurant was packed). He got us in and we ate while he found us a first class room. We were treated like royalty. Great hotel - Hotel Monaco in Old Town Alexandria, VA. "
