Good location for either the Galleria area and for Downtown, only 15 minutes away.
Either Priceline or the Marriott, which blame each other, messed up my reservation,causing a major delay & forcing my friend and me to attend our show without having any supper. As a result, I am unlikely to use either Priceline or the Marriott again.
Definitely not up to the standards of its rating. Room not properly cleaned, with food from previous occupant left in refrigerator. Furniture placed in way that made crossing the room difficult. Shady billing practices: the Marriott tried to bill my credit card for both the room and incidentals, even though it was pre-paid through Priceline and there were no incidentals. They also recorded the wrong date for my reservation, causing a major delay at check-in. Extremely unlikely to return to this hotel. ...

The linens at this hotel are luxurious! The robe is even more fabulously comfortable!! I almost had to buy it to take home because it was SOOOO cozy. The front desk staff were very inviting. The cleaning staff did a excellent job cleaning our room.
Laundry facility needs to be bigger.
Great staff & location! Rewards member have benefit to have concierge level access: free breakfast, starbucks coffee & nice seating area to relax reading a newspaper.

The location was good, and the room was nice.
The charge for parking was ridiculous. That should be included with the room.
The front desk staff took forever to check me in. That gave me a bad impression right from the start.

The hotel was very clean and nice and was in the Galleria area which was very convenient.
The parking garage was a little confusing and where we parked, we had to walk through the convention center part of the hotel to get to our room which was a little bit of a walk. Self parking was only $13.00 which isn't bad for that part of Houston.
Nice clean room and pleasant and professional staff. The beds were absolute heavinly, soft pillows, mattress, and sheets.
