The proximity to downtown and fast food restaurants was helpful.

The towels were thin, there were no extra pillows, and shower didn't maintain hot water for long.

Felt safe, relaxed, staff was helpful and friendly, good coffee, liked waffle-maker.

Breakfasts got boring, yogurt would have been nice or other small menu changes.

We would go back to HoJos again. Very accessible off highway and close to a small shopping/eating area. Some of motels in the same area are not as appealing, but we felt safe at HoJos. Appreciated having a place to do laundry.

Clean and tidy room,
No frills. Comfortable.

No elevator,
not ADA compliant. No pets allowed.

Room was nice, poor view on our side of hotel, backed up to another competitor hotel. Opposite side of floor had fair view. Was very disappointed in no pet rule, but was unable to change the hotel after booked to one across the street that accepted pets. had to leave dog in the car which was a terrible thing. we moved to another locale at comparable price for 2 nights.

Wi-Fi was not a reliable hook-up to the internet.

Staff was great. It was clean. Complimentary breakfast selection was good. Overall a great place to stay and reasonably priced.

Comfortable beds, lobby open all night.

Decor.

Very quiet hotel. Inside corridors for safety. Rooms have microwave and refrigerator. Lobby desk open all night. Free continental breakfast.Entire hotel non-smoking, no pets.

Staff met my requests with friendliness and promptness.

We were placed just above the front door so heard guests coming and going.

The room was large, but when we got in, there was no relaxing chair to sit in. We requested one and it was brought to our room within 20 minutes of our registration. We had a 4 day stay so this was important.

Clean, well-lit, receptive, easy parking for large vehicles, breakfast included, excellent price for this quality.

Somewhat outdated TV, possibly more breakfast options, but really not much to complain about.

When working out of town on business in this area, I need value, but I don't want myself or co-workers to stay at a dive. This Howard Johnson Express is the best price for such a quality hotel with breakfast, pool, spa, Wi-Fi, etc. Friendly staff, excellent access and parking, nice rooms, good quality overall. Indoor pool and spa were ideal.

Breakfast area quite small and crowded.

One overnight with 10 y/o daughter, she loved the pool, the room was adequate....microwave, refrig, coffee-maker (none of which we used). TV older but fine. would stay there again.
