Woke up to hearing people talking in the morning. Our hotel room was 1 room away from the eating area so we heard everyone there. The door was uneven and had a gap so all the sounds came in. The morning counter lady was semi attentive and more concerned with her computer. This place is only good for its location. I would not go back.

The desk clerk was so unaware of her own area that we got turned around three times trying to use her directions. Had she known that Hamilton
street becomes Hamilton building. We would have been there in 5 minutes. Instead it was over an hour. The hotel was outdated, dirty and in poor shape. Very skimpy breakfast, no business center and very rude night clerk.

My family and I were very disappointed with this hotel. The room was small and we found several bugs on the curtains and in the bed. Pool was so crowded and loud (right outside our room) that we couldn't go in it and that was one of our priorities in choosing a hotel to stay at. It sounded like the guests upstairs above us were going to come through the ceiling all night. Couldn't sleep. We originally reserved 2 nights there, but checked out the next morning. We will never go back there again. ...

I woke up at 3 AM from an intense itch. I found multiple bite marks on my arms. I then searched the bed and found 2 bed bugs. I was on my way to NY but had to cancel my trip because my arms began to swell and I did not want to be a cause of the next infestation at another hotel. When I came home I needed to go to ER twice, the bites became infected. I needed to get IV antibiotics as well as IV antihistamines. The hotel refunded 2 times the money I paid, but my expenses were allot more than that. The manager refused to pay for damages I suffered. Stay at that hotel at your own risk. ...

The people were very nice. It was
a very clean place. Great location. They had
a nice variety of things for breakfast. And It's
a great place if
you're traveling with kids.

We were caught in a NY rainstorm and rush hour traffic. Called to cancel and were told it was too late. Ended up staying at a different Howard Johnson.
