Great resort location and immaculately kept grounds. The friendliest and most helpful staff I've seen at a hotel in many years !!
The location is a bit remote - some may like this, others who like to be close to everything may not.

the bathroom lock got jammed and I was stuck in the bathroom! Thank God I had my cell phone on me and was able to get service but could you imagine if I hadn't brought my cellphone with me? this isnot something I would expect to happen to be at a Marriot

Great rooms , beach was easily accessible , activities for the kids all day , staff was very friendly , if we stay again would request 1st floor room (easy pool access). Pool side service was awesome.
Elevators were a little slow , didn't realize there were activities for the kids until the second day , I wish they would have let us know at check in .. Really nothing to complain of
1 St floor rooms walk out to the pool and have covered parking for loading and unloading. Great place to stay with kids , quiet beach with tons of shells . Kid friendly staff they even brought out pool noodles to the kids no charge !

Our room had two double beds instead of queen beds. Not sure why a hotel would choose double beds in a room that was large enough for queen beds.
We didn't like that the rooms were double beds. Also, the hotel was a little hard to find. Signage around the area was source. Signage in the parking lot was helpful.
Very clean and well appointed.

The room was spotless and beautiful. It had a masculine and modern feel, not a typical beach decor. We loved it. The staff was very sweet, helpful, and welcoming.
The only thing I didn't love was the maintenance noise on Monday morning. I realize that work needs to be done to keep the (enormous) grounds looking good.....so, no biggie.
There is a great little market and surf shop located at the intersection closest to the hotel's entrance. Large selection of snacks to take back to the room or beach. And surf board rentals!!

The room was very nice and well located, however the great nights sleep was best the bed was sooo comfortable
The service at the pool restaurant was very slow but tasty. We should have eaten elsewhere

Having to use a towel key for pool towels. Not having the capability of bringing them back to the room without having to make a trip back to the pool to return them.
Location, location, location... Great place to getaway and enjoy the beach.

The hotel is pristine clean, including the rooms, the public areas, the pool, the restaurant, etc. The staff is extremely accommodating.
They need to do MUCH better with recycling - the housekeeper was throwing water bottles and other recycles into the trash! Recycle bins should be in all rooms.
Fabulous hotel, great location. Highly recommended!
