Hotel Guest Reviews of the Hyatt Place Charlotte - City Park
Our hotel ratings and reviews are from real hotel guests. Priceline.com ensures that its reviews are guests-only by proactively sending hotel surveys to customers after they've completed their hotel stays. In the post-stay surveys, priceline.com hotel customers are asked a number of questions about their stay and the hotel. On a scale of 1-10 with 10 being the best, the survey asks guests to rate their overall experience and specifically rate the hotel's cleanliness, staff and location. Priceline.com does not allow site visitors to post unsolicited hotel reviews.April 16, 2013

A great place to stay if you are in Charlotte.

Room was new looking, very clean, and very quiet. Excellent sound attenuation between rooms. Door closer don't appear to let the door slam which is a very nice departure from most other hotels where you can hear doors slamming all hours of the day and night. Very comfortable bed. Nice attention to details. For example, the shampoo and conditioner are in squeeze tubes which are easier to dispense than the usual small capped bottles, and are the best shampoo and conditioner I have used in any hotel. They have the biggest and best chocolate chip cookies at the front desk, and breakfast is delicious. All the staff is extremely nice and courteous, and make you feel they are genuinely interested in your well being and satisfaction. For example, after a 6 hour drive, I was treated to a complimentary, warmed up, huge chocolate cookie and cold glass of milk, on two different trips to this hotel. The location is close to the airport, but far enough away so sound from planes is not an issue. Just a few minutes off the interstate, this location is preferable to the usual ones grouped together adjacent to the interstate. Plenty of parking and a five minute drive from many nice restaurants. ...

Not the closest to the airport by far, but no concerns at all for seedy neighborhood as in many of the closer-to-airport ones. Restaurants in walking dist.
