Hyatt Place Ft. Lauderdale Airport & Cruise Port

Good to stay over night. Central for Ft Lauderdale and Miami incl surroundings

The hotel is in a very convenient location with easy access to both the airport and Port Everglades. The hotel is clean with all the necessary ammenties and the staff is polite and very helpful. Breakfast was quite adequate with a good selection of breakfast foods available. The only negative I found was the shuttle service between the airport and hotel. I was very upset ehen I booked the hotel it said clearly that room has a microwave but when I arrived I asked the help desk and they said no only in customer area has one microwave and I booked through Priceline and hotel management told me to call Priceline. Thru cannot help me for anything. When I called Priceline they told me that upon booking it says hotel have microwave but jot the room. And I booked one month before and I knew we need a microwave that's why we booked this hotel. And it just killed our vacation because two times at night I had to go all the way down to warm up the milk. Very upset I will think 10 times before I booked through peicline. Very good location, but seems a touch on the expensive side. Be aware the lobby is very busy on the weekends supporting ship cruise passengers checking in/checking out/ awaiting transportation.

I arrived at the hotel after a very early flight just to find out they overbooked. I made reservations to this hotel last year in July of 2012. I did not get the room I was promised and the hotel manager Nick was very rude about it. I would not recommend to anyone else. The staff is very rude.

Arrived early before room was ready, waited in lobby area where food and drinks were available for purchase. Check in was fast, front desk staff courteous. Assistant General Mgr was very attentive during our wait for room to be available. Hotel is a newer facility, rooms very comfortable. Shuttle service to Cruise Port was very convenient,$8.00 per person. Would definetly stay here again before next cruise. ...read more

Easy access to town center , without the higher cost of a town centre hotel.
