Hotel Guest Reviews of the Hyatt Place Long Island East End
Our hotel ratings and reviews are from real hotel guests. Priceline.com ensures that its reviews are guests-only by proactively sending hotel surveys to customers after they've completed their hotel stays. In the post-stay surveys, priceline.com hotel customers are asked a number of questions about their stay and the hotel. On a scale of 1-10 with 10 being the best, the survey asks guests to rate their overall experience and specifically rate the hotel's cleanliness, staff and location. The hotel was a very convinient, hassle-free experience. Staff was friendly and helpful, the rooms were clean, had a tv that actually offered channels, there was a mini-fridge, the cleaning crew respected your privacy. On top of that, they offer indoor & outdoor pools, as well as a workout space with treadmills and weights ranging from 5lbs to 60lbs, i actually squeezed in a good free weight workout. This place is worth what you pay. ...

I'd stay again, but it isn't really close enough to what passes for Downtown Main Street. Parking was more of a PITA than it needed to be. Staff is uniformly friendly, the pool was in good working order, and the lobby area was welcoming for people to sit. The one thing lacking was brochures for the North Fork area--usually in a place close to a tourist attraction, it's fairly easy to come by a map or local sites of interest. ...

This was one of the best hotels I have ever stayed at and I am an extensive traveler. The staff was incredibly helpful, the rooms were great, the facility was top notch and included a full breakfast every morning. It's easy to see that the management is doing a terrific job here.

hotel staff is what makes this hotel a go-to again. the location isn't in the best of areas, but, the town is making a serious effort to cleanup it's image. "free" chow in the morning was lacking in quality but not quantity. again the staff was great and the 1-10 scale doesn't do them justice.

Family Traveling with Young Children
I traveled here with my husband and three kids ( 6, 8 & 10). We all enjoyed our stay and the kids want to go back. The hotel is conveniently located next to the Long Island Aquarium, close to beaches, water park, wineries and dining. The rooms are very clean, roomy, up to date and have a nice harbor view. They have an indoor & outdoor pool which is great when your traveling with kids. The pools were clean and towels were always stocked. Breakfast was included and check out was at noon! That made for a easy care free check out. We were able to eat, take a swim with the family and bath on the morning we checked out. We will be returning.
