Hyatt Place Rogers/Bentonville

The super friendly greeting at registration set the tone for our short stay. The staff took time to get restaurant menus and discounts on dining and give personal recommendation that proved to be excellent. They gave us a map of the area and information about all the amenities that the hotel offered. I would definitely look for a Hyatt again. It was an excellent value at a very moderate prove. The front staff was willing to switch my room from the 1st floor near the back entrance and near the breakfast/bar area as I had a horrible migraine and wanted peace and quiet. I appreciated that however I had to be very persistent and finally state I would wait in the lobby if needed until the next room came open. Once we got to the room our door was open with a janitor in there fixing our TV as ESPN, HBO and a couple of other channels did not work. Once he left and we were able to get into the room we had a king suite which is what we asked for but the couch cushions were hanging off and the room although was modern decor was very ran down. Our ottoman had pen marks all over it, tons of nicks and spots on the furniture and carpet. Our fridge was not cold, when I got in the shower the knob on the head fell off. There was mold around our soap dish and the tub did not drain well at all was clogged up. The room was so cramped and the bathroom so small you literally could not even get into the back of the shower without closing the door. It was the smallest bathroom I have ever seen. The divider that divides the bedroom from the couch is so tight you can¿t even move around it. My number one thing I need when traveling is a fitness center, the room is so small with only 4 pieces of equipment you cant get into do lift any weights if others are on the machine. I showed up at 6 am, then 6:30 and came back again at 7:00am and the elliptical machine was out of order and the other two treadmills and bikes were taken each time I checked. ...read more

I would not recommend this hotel. While the location is great and it was well priced, the room is very uncomfortable and cheap. Also, the bathroom was super small and poorly designed. The A/C unit was right at the foot of my bed which made my feet cold all night. My back hurt really bad the next day. The breakfast was nothing special especially the coffee which didn't taste fresh. Right off of the highway for easy access. Our room was very spacious with a little kitchenette and an "office area". The bed was very comfortable and the flat screen in the room was rotatable so you could watch TV from the bed or the couch. Staff while checking in were really nice and very helpful. I wasn't impressed with the breakfast offered, but they did have some instant oatmeal and yogurt which was good enough for what I needed. Thankfully there was a Starbucks next door! ...read more

Nice hotel, easy access, clean, and great beds. Good place to stay.

The hotel was great, but the computers were down and it took about 30 minutes to get a key card that would unlock the door to our room.
