Hotel Guest Reviews of the Hyatt Place San Antonio Riverwalk
Our hotel ratings and reviews are from real hotel guests. Priceline.com ensures that its reviews are guests-only by proactively sending hotel surveys to customers after they've completed their hotel stays. In the post-stay surveys, priceline.com hotel customers are asked a number of questions about their stay and the hotel. On a scale of 1-10 with 10 being the best, the survey asks guests to rate their overall experience and specifically rate the hotel's cleanliness, staff and location. Priceline.com does not allow site visitors to post unsolicited hotel reviews.May 10, 2013

I would not recommend this hotel to anyone. They attempted to overcharge me when I walked in with a rate higher than priceline guaranteed. Then without my knowledge or consent, they pre charged me over $ 160 in charges for "incidentals" I might purchase while at the hotel. When I tied to get this corrected, I was lied to and rudely dealt with. I finally had to get my bank to help correct the situation. This is thievery plain and simple. The rude employees variously identified themselves as managers at one point and assistant managers at others. ...

My family loved the location of this hotel. It is a great value for being able to walk to the main area of the river walk within 10 minutes. The breakfasts were good, the service was great and overall it was a pleasant stay.

The hotel is on the riverwalk, but a few blocks away. This is a nice quiet location where you can still take off and walk along the riverwalk. You can get to everything but not have food being served, partying going on, and birds looking for food outside your room. We really enjoyed staying here, the buffet breakfast was great. Cereal, coffee, tea, egg croissant, and friut, toast, too much to really mention it all. Oatmeal, french toast.etc. The room was a king with a sitting area, desk, counter with sink, refrigerator, and bathroom with large walk in shower (handicap accessible). We had free parking with a tag that they provided to hang in our car. We were able to leave the car there the next day and go to the Alamo, mall, and riverwalk even after checking out of our room. They did everything they could to make our visit wonderful. ...
