Location was great near the Chicago Theater, On the lake, excellent restaurants, friendly people and staff, clean environment both inside and out.
Parking cost too high.

It was a beautiful experience. The location was perfect, the room was extremely comfortable, people were very pleasant and accessible, felt very safe, enjoyed the Downtown area and location, we had a wonderful, great experience.

The bed was very comfortable, nice linens, loved the little overhead reading lights. Excellent lighting in bathroom & I love having magnifying mirror.
So big. I prefer smaller boutique hotels, like Kimpton, where offer a much more personal feel.

This hotel was fine. We usually stay in smaller boutique hotels, so our impression was somewhat colored by this difference as the Hyatt Regency was huge. The valet who greeted us was very friendly and happy to direct us to a self-park garage nearby where we saved $25 by parking our own car.

Wrong room.

We were promised a room with a king-sized bed while checking in, but when we actually got into our room, it had two small beds and different views, that was previously described. Considering that we were celebrating our 10 year wedding anniversary, we were looking forward to somewhat different experience, which is unfortunate.

Huge hotel. you could get everything without leaving premises, is very good location just south of the River and the Mag Mile, also easy walk to attractions in the loop along Michigan or Randolf.

Contrary to other posts on this hotel, it has been recently refurbished in terms of soft and hard goods. What you would expect from a Hyatt.

Responsive and quick staff services.
It is huge.

Well situated, easy in/easy out, with a quick and responsive staff and sizable, comfortable rooms. Excellent for business or leisure travel.
