Hotel Guest Reviews of the Hyatt Regency Denver At Colorado Convention Center

Our hotel ratings and reviews are from real hotel guests. Priceline.com ensures that its reviews are guests-only by proactively sending hotel surveys to customers after they've completed their hotel stays. In the post-stay surveys, priceline.com hotel customers are asked a number of questions about their stay and the hotel. On a scale of 1-10 with 10 being the best, the survey asks guests to rate their overall experience and specifically rate the hotel's cleanliness, staff and location. Priceline.com does not allow site visitors to post unsolicited hotel reviews.

I am a frequent Priceline user, and I sometimes get the feeling that the service in better properties is downgraded when they know that I prepaid by priceline. In this case, I know that housekeeping did not vacuum the room once in my 3 nights.

The hotel is great, and I have stayed there several times in the past. They front line staff are very professional and take good care of me. In this case, I was disappointed with housekeeping's attention to detail. If I use the iron and board, they should probably put it away when they clean the room and the iron has cooled off. I also think they should make sure that it is vacuumed at least once in a three day stay. They did not. Ultimately, I did enjoy my stay, and I will go back again. ...read more

The room & location
I didn't like that they charge an incidentals fee & other add. fees like parking.

Pros are location and the staff was nice. Cons are additional fees (incidental & parking) you have to pay on top of your room rate.

It was a very clean, respectable tourist and convention hotel.
The parking is $32 per day, which I thought was extremely expensive. Self-parking was $28 (or so) per day but is not advertised. I would have loved to have known about the parking before arriving so that I could secure other arrangements, if possible.

The Hyatt Regency Denver is everything you would expect in a run-of-the-mill corporate hotel. Guest rooms are perfectly clean and the amenities are about what you'd expect & nothing fancy. Everything in the hotel costs a pretty penny---food, drinks, coffee, esp. PARKING--- and the atmosphere, common areas, etc. are completely without character. There's one exception: the lounge "Peaks" on the 27th floor offers stunning views of Denver and the Rockies. The concierge seemed to know nothing about the adventuresome dining, shopping and nightlife in the city and offered some bland suggestions that I never followed up on. I got a great deal through Priceline, which I'm super happy with, but I wouldn't ever pay full price for this hotel; it's just not that appealing to me and my interests! ...read more

Wonderful staff. Everything was spotless. We loved the Peaks lounge.

Everyone treated us as if we were VIPs. We were there celebrating our anniversary and we were completely spoiled. It was a perfect trip. Peaks lounge was great. Very good quality cocktails for surprisingly reasonable prices.
