Hotel Guest Reviews of the Hyatt Regency Dfw

Our hotel ratings and reviews are from real hotel guests. Priceline.com ensures that its reviews are guests-only by proactively sending hotel surveys to customers after they've completed their hotel stays. In the post-stay surveys, priceline.com hotel customers are asked a number of questions about their stay and the hotel. On a scale of 1-10 with 10 being the best, the survey asks guests to rate their overall experience and specifically rate the hotel's cleanliness, staff and location. Priceline.com does not allow site visitors to post unsolicited hotel reviews.

That we didn't have to wait for the crib we requested and the Johnson and Johnson baby pack was a nice surprise!
It was great!

We arrived late with 4 kids. The shuttle arrived to get us very quickly. I was pleased to see the crib we requested was already in our room waiting along with a Johnson and Johnson baby pack. The buffet breakfast was wonderful and our server was amazing.

The room was clean but I found the hotel to be average.
The location of the hotel is terrible if you are not flying out of the airport. It is perfect for travelers who will be flying out of DFW. We were not flying out so I would not stay here again.

LOVE this hotel!!! The rooms are spacious, the beds comfortable, and the balconies are fun to watch the airport runways from. And the sound-proofness is amazing. You'd never believe the runways are so close!
We loved everything!

The handicap accessible rooms are wonderful with walk-in showers. The staff was amazing. We truly love staying here. It's a very classy hotel with an upscale feel but down-home service.

Clean and very nice. Staff courteous and helpful
It was a bit hard to find. My GPS brought me in on the airport service road but you cannot get to the hotel from the free service road. You must come into the airport on the toll road. Not the hotel's fault but if Priceline could somehow let users know..

Great hotel in Dallas especially for weekend getaways to Dallas as it appears it is mostly busy during the week for business people but you can get it for great weekend rates. If driving to the airport be sure to come in on the toll road and the signs make the hotel easy to find. There is a non-toll service road that will take you right by the hotel but there is no way to get to the hotel or parking from the free service road. The hotel will stamp your toll ticket so you don't have to pay when leaving the airport. If you take your toll ticket inside with you then you won't have to make an extra trip into the hotel just to get the ticket stamped when you leave. ...read more

The rooms were amazing, especially the very comfortable beds. The staff went above and beyond. Our car's battery died in the garage and the staff tried to jump us off, and when that didn't work they called the airport and they jumped us off for no charge.

This hotel was one of the best that we stayed in. We drove to Dallas and stayed here the night before flying out on vacation, and it was a great, relaxing beginning to the vacation. The beds were incredibly comfortable, and the room was clean and large. The staff were very nice and went above and beyond. Upon returning from our vacation, our car's battery was dead in the garage and the staff tried to jump us off, and when that didn't work they called the airport and they jumped us off for no charge. They had free shuttles that dropped off and picked up right at your terminal. I definitely recommend this hotel. ...read more

Don't be intimidated by the fact it is in the airport. Easy in and out and they validate your pass.

It was very easy to get to from the airport for a short layover.
The air conditioning unit started smoking at 2am. Our room was filled with smoke and the fire alarm kept going off. We camped out in the hallway until someone came up to investigate. We had to talk to two people before anyone would come check it out.

I guess we would stay there again. However, for what we paid for such a basic room I would expect that when we are forced to move rooms at 2am because ours was literally filled with black smoke from a broken A/C unit that we would at least be upgraded to a better room. We were a little disappointed that we weren't offered more than free coffee and donuts in the morning for our troubles. None of us got any sleep that night and we only had a 12 hour layover to begin with. ...read more

Location
Rooms are dated and dismal... Damp, musty smelling room.

Great airport location. Got a terrific same day rate on Priceline... Would have been very disappointed to pay standard rate as hotel rooms not up to 4 star standards. Dated, damp smelling and dark.

Room was very small. Very dusty and dirty. Looked like it had not been cleaned in months. Hallways were dark and stuffy.

Rated as a 4 star hotel but was not even close. Very little water pressure. Room was very small and cramped. Dust was on every surface. Remote to tv had gunk all over it. Will not stay there again.
