The hotel is beautiful and the staff was very helpful.
Being charged for extras (water, internet, the stores were a little pricey, and the valet was a little much)
This is a beautiful hotel, great location & great staff. Make sure to have extra money for the misc items.

The front lobby staff was excellent and very helpful. Our son had recently broken his ankle and was in a cast. He needed lots of extra help and everyone in the front lobby - doormen, valet, concierge,etc. made sure he was treated special.
Housekeeping failed to empty ice bucket or leave clean glasses; also failed to leave back up roll of toilet paper.
This hotel has an excellent location for the Super Dome and sights near and around the dome. It is about a 15 minute walk (12-15 blocks) to Canal street and the quarter. Dining in the hotel was excellent, however there are also several nearby locations that do good meals. It is located a short taxi ride (about $7.00 for 2 people) from Harrah's casino.The front lobby staff (concierge, bellhop, doormen valets) are superb! Housekeeping was great first night and careless the other three forgetting to trade out dirty ice buckets and glasses and not leaving extra toilet paper. The pizza served by room service was voted "great" by two teenage boys so it must have been pretty good. The beds were everything they advertised on comfort. ...

The staff was very rude and unorganized. The pool was closed and no informed us after we called several times concerning our supposely balcony. Staff was very rude once brought to their attention after numerous calls.

I wish I had known that the parking would be a third the cost of the room. was not expecting that expense.
