I do not know how this hotel was rated a 4 star. It is in serious need of updates. The vinyl covered furniture had tears and black scuff marks in the common areas and the rooms. Shower was dark with very little light. The toiletries were pretty awful quality and fragrance. They cannot complete in any way with the Ritz down the street and I think they stopped trying. However, the location is great and the price is very good. My room was light and bright, but the bathroom was cramped. Gym and pool were very nice and staff was friendly.

The hotel is, apparently, quite luxurious. We were embarrassed at breakfast by not being given a complimentary breakfast, which we had received the previous Hyatt the day before.

Solo Traveler
This hotel was great for our vacation- a girls' weekend. The hotel is gorgeous, and especially the outdoor pool with waterfall is so relaxing and inviting. The people behind the front desk and the valets were all so polite and helpful. The only complaints I have are: no continental breakfast. There was a breakfast buffet offered for $20, so we left the hotel instead and ate out. Also, there was no free wi-fi. I'm not sure why not, in this day and age, in a 4-star hotel, that we have to pay for Internet. Plus, the mini-fridge in the room didn't seem to be safely cold enough to keep our leftovers- we ended up throwing them out. But, GORGEOUS views out every room. I can't say enough how much we enjoyed the pool. Facilities were clean, and we had a very relaxing time- mission accomplished! I will definitely stay here again. ...
