Hotel Guest Reviews of the Hyatt Palm Springs
Our hotel ratings and reviews are from real hotel guests. Priceline.com ensures that its reviews are guests-only by proactively sending hotel surveys to customers after they've completed their hotel stays. In the post-stay surveys, priceline.com hotel customers are asked a number of questions about their stay and the hotel. On a scale of 1-10 with 10 being the best, the survey asks guests to rate their overall experience and specifically rate the hotel's cleanliness, staff and location. Priceline.com does not allow site visitors to post unsolicited hotel reviews.April 24, 2013

They charged a $15 resort fee on top of the room rate. They also charged $20 parking when we had to park in a 'free' parking lot. I felt that it was disingenuous.

Go ahead and enjoy all the stuff in the room (water, toiletries, etc.) becuase you are paying for them...the room was great. Wish I had asked for a King bed upon arrival, but it was fine. Nice beds - nice linen, large room with nice patio wiht a view. Was a really great experience.

not clean, bathroom was very dirty, lots of hair and dust. Carpet was stained, etc.
This hotel has a very nice restaurant with great food, and the rooms are large. I was less than happy with the cleanliness of the bathroom especially- there was a lot of dust, hair on the sink, vanity counter tops and in the tub. The toilet had very obviously not been cleaned, there were lots of small stains on the sofa and the carpet- just not anywhere close to the other 3 star hotels that we have stayed at via Priceline. Lovely grounds, unclean room. Another issue was something that I have never experienced before in all of my travels. When we checked in the lady at the front desk was very nice, she even gave us 2 free breakfast coupons at the restaurant, but made no mention of any other fees, etc. We got to the room and pulled out the key card. A small paper fell out that informed us of the $15.00 resort fee that covered things like in-room internet, coffee, tea, and water. Not that $15.00 is going to break anyone, but it was like they intentionally hide it. There was no mention of it whatsoever, nor did I have to sign anything upon check-in or check-out. Priceline was of no help either, I waited on hold with customer service for over 30 minutes, and when they finally answered, before I could even speak, I was cut off. Needless to say I didn't want to try again. I have recommended Priceline to so many people, and have always been very satisfied, until now. Poor excuse for customer service. I will still use it, but will really try to avoid this hotel. The Hyatt should send their staff to training at the Hilton.

Nice hotel; but I was disappointed that they charged a resort fee and parking fee. There was plenty of street parking.
