Hotel Guest Reviews of the Il Lugano Suite Hotel
Our hotel ratings and reviews are from real hotel guests. Priceline.com ensures that its reviews are guests-only by proactively sending hotel surveys to customers after they've completed their hotel stays. In the post-stay surveys, priceline.com hotel customers are asked a number of questions about their stay and the hotel. On a scale of 1-10 with 10 being the best, the survey asks guests to rate their overall experience and specifically rate the hotel's cleanliness, staff and location. Priceline.com does not allow site visitors to post unsolicited hotel reviews.November 13, 2012

This hotel was by far one of the best hotels, that I have stayed in during my many visits to Fort Lauderdale. I loved the kitchen and the view was wonderful.

Without question, the large immaculate suite, respectable kitchen, and private balcony is the highpoint of the hotel. I wish I had a closet at home as large as the one in our room. What stands between this hotel and a true 4 star operation are small things- the elevator on our floor is easy to mistake for a closet. The pool is in an alley. It is not welcoming at night and is clearly "the space that was available." A number of the public spaces are a little awkward. The bar at the restaurant is kind of an afterthought. The place feels like a nice apartment building and not a destination hotel. Which is probably great for some. All in all, $109 for this room was a steal. ...

Super nice, high quality property on the Inter Coastal Waterway, Fort Lauderdale, just west of A1A, about a 7 min. walk to the beach.

All of the doors in the hotel bath, bedroom, kitchen knocked into one an other. Our view from our balcony was a large fan from the building next door. We had to crawl on the floor to use the safe in the bedroom closet. The commode room did not have a exhaust fan. There were no hooks or hand towel hangers. The closet in the bathroom did not have hangers. We had bath rugs one day but not the other four. ...

Nice well appointed room with a great kitchen including washer/dryer, great bed, mediocre bath, nice terrace. Priced high in season but not as much as hotels directly on the ocean. Don't bother taking a lower elevation room on the ocean side, choose the intracoastal side at any level. Very nice staff, not much to do in the hotel public areas, $25.00 per night parking (plus tips) or you can (continuously) feed the parking meters in a parking lot across the street! ...
