Hotel Guest Reviews of the Inn At Lincoln Park

Our hotel ratings and reviews are from real hotel guests. Priceline.com ensures that its reviews are guests-only by proactively sending hotel surveys to customers after they've completed their hotel stays. In the post-stay surveys, priceline.com hotel customers are asked a number of questions about their stay and the hotel. On a scale of 1-10 with 10 being the best, the survey asks guests to rate their overall experience and specifically rate the hotel's cleanliness, staff and location. Priceline.com does not allow site visitors to post unsolicited hotel reviews.

Helpful staff. It's a run down hotel, but kept clean and they do their best. Nothing else was available, so I did the best with what I had.
Hot water was a dribble in the shower, so coldish shower was all I could get. No ability to change to a different room as they were fully booked.

Rooms need up dating . Bathroom was a little scary. Not sure I wanted to shower there . BAthtub grouting was atrocious .

Great location . Rooms were badly in need of updating . Staff was very helpful and attentive.

Great access to Wrigley Field and lots of restaurants in the area.
They need to figure out a better way to get you a taxi. They have this light that they switch on from the Front Desk that apparently lights up on the side of their building that's supposed to make taxis stop. We had to wait almost a half hour.

The description of the hotel as "Victorian" is accurate. You're getting an old style room and hotel, which was totally fine. It's well appointed and comfortable. The location is perfect for going to games at Wrigley--it's just about a mile walk down Clark St. and you pass at least thirty restaurants and bars along the way. It's also a reasonable distance to Lake Shore Dr. and downtown. ...read more

The location and price were perfect
The room was a little small

The staff were very friendly. The room was small but it was enough for two people for two nights. The proximity to Boystown was exactly what we were looking for. Plus the price of the room was perfect for our trip

The best part of this hotel is the location. It's in the middle of everything. It also was an older building and needed a little work but I found that charming. It felt historic.
There was no blow dryer or iron - I didn't have time to ask the front desk if they had one (maybe they did). The apples at the continental breakfast looked really sad and shriveled.

Despite the things mentioned above, this was a great hotel for the price and it was conveniently located in the middle of everything. I easily found street parking (I arrived very late at night) and just fed the meter in lieu of paying $30 for parking. I would stay here again.

The location is great!
Room is too small and no supply of coffee maker.

Generally, the stuff are kind and patient but since we bidded our own price as a relative low price, the Inn refused to provide a larger room as well as the coffee maker. I have been to other star 1 hotels but they are much more generous on that.

Convenient and safe location. Nice staff.
Needs major updating, small rooms and bed. Rundown.

The hotel is in a cute area on a nice street with shops and dining nearby. My room on the third floor was small. Would have been difficult for two people to navigate the room. The room seemed clean, but the walls need to be painted and the comforter and linens could use a serious refresh. For the money, it's about what I expected. Front desk staff was friendly and helpful.

The bathroom shower.

Great location. Small and quaint and adequate for a 1 or 2 night stay.

Kind of close to where I needed to be.
Cost too much for what was received.
