Hotel Guest Reviews of the Inn At The Park
Our hotel ratings and reviews are from real hotel guests. Priceline.com ensures that its reviews are guests-only by proactively sending hotel surveys to customers after they've completed their hotel stays. In the post-stay surveys, priceline.com hotel customers are asked a number of questions about their stay and the hotel. On a scale of 1-10 with 10 being the best, the survey asks guests to rate their overall experience and specifically rate the hotel's cleanliness, staff and location. Priceline.com does not allow site visitors to post unsolicited hotel reviews.February 21, 2013

The location is pretty central to the "sights" and equidistant to a lot of them. It's a 2 mile walk to downtown but I assume many would want to drive. It's right next to Balboa Park and walking distance to the zoo (maybe a mile?) They offer a fabulous concierge service who will provide a map and answer any questions. I was thoroughly thrilled with my stay.

The Inn At The Park staff was helpful, friendly and accommodating. Location is good (30min walk to Gaslamp District, right next to Balboa park and a 10-15min drive to the beach), but not spectacular. Great for the price. Breakfast on the rooftop terrace isn't gourmet, but the views and the fact that it's complimentary make up for it. Renovated rooms are really really nice, but the fact that half of the hotel is empty/undergoing construction is a little weird. Not a huge deal, though. ...

We had 2 rooms. 1 was renovated with the Stove & Dishwasher out of order. Toilet paper holder was under the sink. There was a constant pinging noise. But the room was clean, breakfast came with the room. I did find street parking. Bed was great. Pillows were too small 12"x12"squares (you get 4 of them). 2nd room was not renovated. Old looking but everything worked & the toilet paper was where is should be (next to the toilet). No noise, quiet. Bed was great.Due to the renovation, plastic hanging to keep noise & dust to a minimum, signs posted caution for health ...

Over all the hotel is in a good location. Its my understanding that this hotel is going to be completely re done from top to bottom. If this is done right the hotel will be much improved. For the rate
I paid the hotel was a fair deal.
