Couple
One of the nicest hotels we have ever stayed at. Room was large, luxurious and well-appointed. Free internet worked perfectly. We felt very safe...using the skywalk to go across the street to the mall. The staff failed to call the taxi that we requested the evening before and we had to wait almost 25 minutes past our scheduled departure time. But they were very apologetic and worked as quickly as they could to make up for it. The breakfast buffet was not to our liking, too stuffy with foods a bit too exotic without such staples as eggs.

Business Traveler
The location is perfect for travelers who do not know there way around as it is attached to the sand ton square mall where you can go have a meal or shop or have a meeting without have to wander around town. Unfortunately, crime is a problem in joberg, so being able to stay in a good location and having access to the mall next door is a huge benefit for those who do not know their way around. Also, everyone knows this hotel. You just tell people that you are staying at the Sandston Sun and everyone will know where to meet you. ...
