Hotel Guest Reviews of the Intercontinental Monterey The Clement

Our hotel ratings and reviews are from real hotel guests. Priceline.com ensures that its reviews are guests-only by proactively sending hotel surveys to customers after they've completed their hotel stays. In the post-stay surveys, priceline.com hotel customers are asked a number of questions about their stay and the hotel. On a scale of 1-10 with 10 being the best, the survey asks guests to rate their overall experience and specifically rate the hotel's cleanliness, staff and location. Priceline.com does not allow site visitors to post unsolicited hotel reviews.

Over all excellent. We loved it so much
Yes we could not stay longer and the hot tub closed too early

Staff helpful & attentive
Dont like fact they charge for: internet connection wired or wireless, $22.00 a day parking and tried to charge for wet bar item that I did not take. (they did not contest and took it off the bill)

Bike & walking paths right behind hotel, makes Fisherman's warf a nice walk (1.3 miles approx 35 minutes one way) Directly across the street from Monterey Bay Aquarium

The only thing that was less than excellent about this hotel was the television reception. People that can afford this hotel expect "direct TV" level of reception. This really took away from the overall experience.

Great hotel at excellent location. The expenses of valet parking cannot really be avoided as the price of self parking almost the same is as valet parking.

Clean room, fireplace, all the fun places to visit right outside the door.
$22 bucks to park. $10 internet fee. Essentially mandatory bell hop to get bags to room. $5.

Staff was super polite and welcoming. The room was immaculate and there was a real orchid plant( I think) in the bathrom, fireplace in the room. Lovely!
I forgot there was a fee for parking but that would be normal in such a busy tourist area.

A great place to stay. Right in the middle of the "action" yet strangely peaceful in the room. Easy access to the aquarium ( less than one block) and the great walking path along the bay.

The hotel is right on Cannery Row so convenient to walk everywhere. Beautiful room with a fabulous view, a fireplace and live orchids were a lovely touch. Papers in the morning was also a bonus and all of the staff were so very friendly and accommodatig

Yes, yes and yes!
Disappointed in that WiFi had to be purchased daily. We never have been charged for this in the past, especially for a higher end hotel

See comments above, otherwise very nice stay.

Loved this hotel! Beautifully decorated, spotless room. Location is superb (next to Aquarium and coastal walking trail). Staff was wonderful and so friendly. Pool was excellent. Wonderful massage by Laurie in the spa.
The restaurant is quite expensive. But 2 blocks away in Pacific Grove are some excellent and fairly priced restaurants.

Pros: Beautifully decorated, spotless room. Location is superb (next to Aquarium and coastal walking trail). Staff was wonderful and so friendly. Pool was excellent. Loved the fluffy robe. We never got negative feedback about our cute but energetic young son. Felt we could really relax here. Wonderful massage by Laurie in the spa. Cons: Expensive restaurant. But 2 blocks away in Pacific Grove are some excellent and fairly priced restaurants. ...read more
