Hotel Guest Reviews of the Intercontinental Montreal

Our hotel ratings and reviews are from real hotel guests. Priceline.com ensures that its reviews are guests-only by proactively sending hotel surveys to customers after they've completed their hotel stays. In the post-stay surveys, priceline.com hotel customers are asked a number of questions about their stay and the hotel. On a scale of 1-10 with 10 being the best, the survey asks guests to rate their overall experience and specifically rate the hotel's cleanliness, staff and location. Priceline.com does not allow site visitors to post unsolicited hotel reviews.

The location is perfect, close to Old Montreal, the port and other attractions/nightlife in the area. The room is a good size and the bed was comfortable. We didn't explore any other parts of the hotel.
The parking is very expensive compared to the rest of Montreal. I think it was 23 for self park and 32 for valet. Park anywhere a few blocks away and pay under 10$ on weekends

Concierge - Gerry- was so helpful. Hotel was lovely and everyone could not have been more helpful. Room was comfortable and spacious.
If had to say anything that I did not like - and I'm stretching to find something - is that the lighting in the bedroom was too dim. But that's it!

I stayed in this hotel before so the front desk manager knew me. That's why I got a nice room with a nice view.
I don't like the elevators because I need to use my room key to use those elevators.

This is a solid 4 star hotel. The rooms are nice and clean. The bathroom has both bath tub and a glass door shower stand. The guest room has mini bar and a code operated safe. I always put my passport and valuable items in the safe when I go to the suna room of this hotel or go swimming.

Very large room, excellent public spaces, fitness center, sauna, steam room. Nice bar area as well. Convenient location for Bell Centre and Old Montreal.
Pool was a little small, and there was no hot tub (jacuzzi). Parking was a little steep as well at $23/night.

We had an excellent stay at the Intercontinental. Room was great, with a separate shower and tub. Large flat screen. Comfortable beds. Quiet. Hotel is located within walking distance of Old Montreal, and was a short walk to the Bell Center as well.

Great room; in room fridge; bathroom was up to date ! Location: excellent for Old Montreal AND Downtown at the same time.
Pool area was a bit less than we hoped for (that said, the purpose of our trip was not about the pool).

Great location (Old Montreal and Downtown). Shopping mall beneath hotel was very useful. Staff were very friendly ! Parking and Wifi were separate charges but reasonable (I didn't expect this to be free be any means)

The lobby is beautiful and the staff is great.
The rooms are a little outdated (old carpet). The bathrooms are really outdated and the shower had mold within the grout. The floors also were gross in the corners near the shower and toilet.

This hotel should really be rated 3.5 stars, not 4. The other hotels in the 4 star category are definitely higher end than this one.

Front desk staff was unbelievably rude & unhelpful. Wouldn't honor reservation for which we had already paid & then tried to charge us
xxx for 2 cots for our children whom they couldn't accommodate.

Something went wrong between priceline and the hotel with our booking and the hotel staff took care of everything and even gave us an upgrade for our trouble.

Clean, comfortable
as with any high end hotel, the cost for F&B are usually outrageous. I just cant justify the 20+ bucks for breakfast, but not to worry lots of options in walking distance

if you want to be downtown, this is great.

Location and room were great.

Cleanliness--) no shower drape and lot of hair remaining in the bath!... surprising for the quality of the hotel...
