Hotel Guest Reviews of the Intercontinental New Orleans

Our hotel ratings and reviews are from real hotel guests. Priceline.com ensures that its reviews are guests-only by proactively sending hotel surveys to customers after they've completed their hotel stays. In the post-stay surveys, priceline.com hotel customers are asked a number of questions about their stay and the hotel. On a scale of 1-10 with 10 being the best, the survey asks guests to rate their overall experience and specifically rate the hotel's cleanliness, staff and location. Priceline.com does not allow site visitors to post unsolicited hotel reviews.

The Priceline sight indicated that parking was free, however the hotel said they had no such arrangement with Priceline and I was charged $40 per night for parking. I have contacted Priceline customer service and am waiting for this issue to be resolved.

Right next to St Charles Streetcar- location.
Not worth 4 stars. Also, pool was not in service.

Rooms were very nice and staff was helpful and courteous.
Hotel parking was expensive. Valet took far too long each day to bring around the vehicles (~20 minutes).

Breakfast choices for good although expensive. Staff did not know what type of breakfast was included in our reservation.
Extremely loud. Since we has made the reservation through Priceline they told me the nonsmoking room was first come first served. They didn't have the 2 double bed room we reserved and offered us a king with a rollaway bed. They had one nonsmoking room.

The Hotel didn't stick to the reservation terms, double bed and nonsmoking. Extremely loud area which made getting a good nights sleep difficult. Restraunant staff service was good but no one know how to apply the included breakfast in our bill. Also cellphone service at the hotel didn't work, I have verizon wireless. I would not recommend this hotel.

The room was not as clean as I expected... there were beads behind the curtains and a ponytail holder near the bed that were not cleaned up from previous guests.

The location of the hotel was very good and staff was helpful
The toilet in our room ran for a very long time. The shower curtain might as well not even be there as there was water all over the floor after showering. There was a large puddle of water on the window sill due to a significant amount of condensation.

The location was great, close to the French Quarter and not far (short street car ride) from Magazine St. and the Garden District. The rooms are decent, but not four star level.

I liked the $124 price I paid for a 4 star hotel. We were upgraded to a balcony for no additional charge. Services were excellant.
All was good. Parking was high so we used an adjacent parking facility for additional savings.

Rooms and service were great. Used adjacent parking garage for additional savings. Location is within walking distance of the Super Dome, French Quarter and Boardwalk attractions. I would stay here again and recommend it to others through Priceline.

Heard all the noise in the room next door!

The hotel is in a decent location. Easily walk-able to the French Quarter and right next to poydras street, so one can easily commute to the Garden District or uptown New Orleans. Taxis are conveniently located right outside the hotel at all times. The room was very spacious with two queen beds.

Staff was extremely friendly, and was convenient to the Superdome and Bourbon Street. Also loved the room key as I could put in my wallet and never have to get it out.

Great hotel, good location, and great price. What more could you ask for when travelling?
