Odd arrangement of elevators going to specific floors, could not go to relative/ traveling companions' rooms without a key to a room on those floors. Had to have them meet me in the lobby and ride up to their rooms, elevators operated by card keys
Other than odd situation with elevators, this is a nice hotel well located for theatergoers. The lobby is oddly configured, but there is good seating. It's a little dark, but I find that low lighting is the norm in hotels lately.

From the moment that we arrived, the staff was more than cordial. When our taxi arrived, we were greeted curbside and our luggage was promptly delivered to our room. Furthermore, the hotel was central to all that we wanted to do and see.
There was nothing that we disliked about our stay at the Intercontinental.
I would easily rate this hotel among the best of the best. The accommodations were contemporary and upscale; the staff was wonderful; and the location was perfectly central to Broadway and the hustle and bustle of Times Square.

The location was great.
The fact that we couldn't choose the bed. We paid for deluxe king size bed and received two queen beds.
Hotel in general is great. Good location, nice staff.

location is great. staff is friendly and helpful. king size bed was oh so confortable. room was clean and decorated beautifully..
hotel was perfect
wife treated me to a play and a night in the city for my 50th birthday..we took the bus in from new jersey and the hotel is just 2 short blocks from the port authority bus terminal..arrived at 2pm but room wouldn't be ready until 3pm.they watched our bag and we went right across the street to smith's bar and grill for a drink..hotel called us when room was ready at 3pm.you must use your room card in the elevator to get it to move, we eventually figured that out. room was beautifull, modern, and clean. huge flat screen tv and a large walk in rainfall shower. had a great day and night in the city and will do it again with the intercontinental hotel as our home base...highly recommended. ...
