Perfect location. You could walk almost everywhere. Had a small elevator. Free Internet. Nearby metro - opera metro station.
A little hard to find initially.

Hotel was clean and perfectly located. Staff wasn't overly friendly but would help if asked.

Perfect location; comfortable room.
Balcony room; so subject to street noise; but not a problem for us.

Would definitely stay here again. Perfect location for Madrid, near Plaza/Sol & transport, but Plaza San Martin is a bit secluded from the nighttime revelry. Good value--we could afford a junior suite, which provided elbow room. Compared with other hotels/cities/in Spain, this one was the best & the best value. Street-side rooms will get noise, but no problem for us.
