Restaurants, attractions, and even Walmart nearby. Perfect location. Indoor pool adequate. Family-friendly hotel. Must be okay with pets, beach and hotel full of them.

Location: nice, staff: wonderfull, view: gorgeous, room: clean and comfy ( bed was really comfy )
Wish I knew before booking if they had a elevator to my room on top floor. I climbed about a 100 stairs! crushed foot in car accident, it has plates and screws, now disabled. Not sure if elevator is avail, I just did my best with stairs

Ocean is steps away! Quiet and clean! Restaurants and mini golf just blocks away

The location was by far the hotel's best attribute.
Nope.

Fantastic hotel. It was right on the beach; you could see the ocean from the window, and you could hear the waves. The section of the beach that the hotel had access to was beautiful. The room was very nice as well. Slept in too late to judge the breakfast, but, the room was great, and the location was outstanding.

Ocean-front room, covered parking, friendliness of staff, and cleanliness of facilities was excellent.
Hotel pool was on the small side.

I highly recommend the Islander Inn as a conveniently located, family-friendly, clean, well-run place to stay. The staff is always helpful. My family and I have stayed at the other hotels on Ocean Isle and we will definitely choose the Islander next time we return.
