The King suite was stylishly designed with gorgeous accents.
The biggest negative, and the reason I probably will not return, is lack of sufficient interior sound dampening. Noise from other rooms and the hall were very disruptive.

This hotel was perfect for us, all the way from location, room, to the staff as indicated by the ratings. The location was just off the busy Mag Mile but close enough to walk. The rooms were big, modern, and clean. The staff was very helpful and courteous

You are within walking distance to so many shopping, eating places, and attractions. There are only a few rooms per floor which limited traffic and the walls were thick for quietness. The staff from receptionists to valet were very kind and helpful. The rooms were huge with separate large shower and deep bathtub, double vanity. The living sitting room was large and comfortable. The bed was very comfortable and didn't feel like I was getting squeezed. The hotel is only 1 year old and very clean and modern. I just hope they don't let it get run down because this will be my stay in downtown Chicago. ...read more

Room was fantastic, large, comfortable and well kept. Location was perfect 1.5 blocks from Michigan Ave.
Only thing that did not like was that mirror in bath was very dark, very hard to see well.

Room was large and comfortable. Bathroom and shower was excellent other than dark mirror. Location is close to everything and very attentive staff. Very positive experience.

The Room and the Lobby were both fantastic. The actual Guest services staff were very good and the bar staff was excellent.
My only real complaint was that the room service staff were very loud in the mornings. My room was right in front of the elevators so all of the banging and chatting was very loud. Oh, I didn't know how to use my room key at first, but I figured it out pr

I thought the hotel looked like it had just been pulled out of the movie Tron (which I thought was very swanky). I would suggest the hotel to any of my friends because it is small enough that you're not always being herded along by staff and other guests. The decor really did make the hotel super cool and I'm glad that I stayed there. The hotel was very accommodating about an early check-in and the service was fast and professional. We enjoyed the contemporary design and the room setup, too, and a nice view!
The only thing we didn't love was that the room was not completely clean when we checked in. I know I requested an early check-in (1:30pm), which the Ivy accommodated (and I appreciated that). But when we checked in, there were dirty cleaning rags in the

Very roomy with sitting room plus bedroom, each with a tv. Lovely bath with large tub plus separate shower, with tv in mirror over sinks. Quiet, small hotel in good location. Keurig coffee maker very nice touch.
When rooms are very modern, I like a nice view, which was lacking here. Also no lobby to sit in while waiting for someone, although there is a hotel bar near registry.
