For a JW it was below the standard very disappointed :-/
The bathroom was old

The staff was amazing! They were right there to open doors, answer questions, high five the kiddos!! They provided water and other treats each time we walked through the lobby. Everyone had a smile on their face :)
The only negative is the price of valet parking. However, it is comparable to valet parking in other hotels in NOLA. The valet workers were great though!
This hotel is clean, modern and a pleasure to stay at. They look out for your needs! My husband left his phone charger at home and one of the maintence workers brought us his personal one to use while we were there! No questions asked...just offered! Super friendly staff! A pleasure and hope to get this hotel again!

Truly a 4-star hotel - great staff, nice decor, and clean rooms.
The parking was exorbitant - $40/taxes. Didn't have time to explore other parking options, but I am sure would have found some cheaper options nearby.

So make sure you go to the correct one :).

The room was great with a king size bed and very comfortable mattress and sheets. The look of the room was very elegant with a wonderful view of downtown New Orleans overlooking Canal St. The staff was extremely kind and attentive to my every need.
This hotel exceeded my expectations. There's nothing negative to say about it.
Out of all the 4 star hotels along Canal St. And near the French Quarter the JW Marriott was by far my best experience. To travelers definitely order room service. The food is well worth the money.
