Perfect location to the New Orleans sights - close to water, trolly, bourbon street - and quiet too! Great staff and little perks, like borrowing an umbrella because we didn't realize it would rain.
We didn't have A fridge or microwave in the room.
Was there for a conference & others staying at nearby hotels complained about the noise from Bourbon St - but we didn't hear a thing. Loved the location, trolley was right out the back door. I'm also a sucker for a place with room service & helpful staff.

the hotel definitely live up to JW's standards and reputATION, but its staff was exceptional. Every single person was outstanding
not really...Maybe the conceige was not too knowledegable.Had to correct her twice on directions she was trying to give me.
hotel recently renovated. It has a very friendly, inviting feel. Staff was most helpful.

Staff maintenance responded immediately to problems with air conditioner in the p.m. at the hotel.
One bed shoved up against the wall - seemed not as good as the other placement. Fights over who would sleep in that bed so close to the bathroom.
You can hear through the walls.No privacy.Door to room did not close tightly like it may have once upon a time. You could close it manually tightly, but it sprung back unevenly. There is already air flow underneath the door to the hallway.

Everything seemed very fresh and new; some renovations were in progress in the lobby area (thus a slightly lower ranking for that but I'm sure they'll be nice when it's done).
Should have free WiFi in-room, not just lobby areas.
Much nicer than the bigger. Marriott across the street. We really enjoyed staying here.
