Hotel Guest Reviews of the Kansas City Marriott Downtown

Our hotel ratings and reviews are from real hotel guests. Priceline.com ensures that its reviews are guests-only by proactively sending hotel surveys to customers after they've completed their hotel stays. In the post-stay surveys, priceline.com hotel customers are asked a number of questions about their stay and the hotel. On a scale of 1-10 with 10 being the best, the survey asks guests to rate their overall experience and specifically rate the hotel's cleanliness, staff and location. Priceline.com does not allow site visitors to post unsolicited hotel reviews.

Noisy, an electric outlet didn't work, small room at large expense

Inefficient staff at check in. Waited 15 minutes. Mediocre room, fuzzy tv reception, noisy having safes being put installed in rooms and a horrible value for a supposedly upscale hotel. We will never stay again.

Great rooms. Great, friendly staff, very nice location as we were here for a volleyball tourney at the convention center. Lived that it was within walking distance.
Need refrigerators and microwave in rooms for that price.

Great location within walking distance to many great restaurants and shops

Location
For a Marriot, I expected a fridge and microwave in the room.

Lot of walking to get to our room in the other building. These days, in a Marriot, fridges and microwaves should be standard for the price we have to pay.

Close to bar district, so did not have to drink and drive, room was quiet.

I will recommend and I will return.

Staff handled an air conditioning leak in our room very well.
Double beds were small. Pool was a lap pool with no hot tub.

Helpful staff, convenient location. Concierge room food was mediocre and picked over quickly.

The decor in the lobby was very nice.
I did not like that there were no room options that had a refridgerator

The Marriott is a beautiful hotel but I felt like the rooms were too small for the price being paid. I also disliked that they had no rooms with a refridgerator. The staff was very friendly, check in and check out both went smoothly.

Very friendly staff. Willing and able to assist.
We were in the part across the sky walk. It didn't seem to be as fancy as the main part of the hotel but it was still nice and clean.

Very nice space, very close to Power & Light. Comfortable and safe.

The staff was extremely friendly and courteous.
The prices were outrageously too high. Regular hotel room for $200?? Come on.

Staff was great but the food and room were way over priced for what they were. The hotel was in a great location. Just too pricey.

Parking on site which was very convenient for being downtown KC!
Paying extra for parking.

Staff was welcoming and helpful. I had called for directions to hotel the same day of arrival and Lupe was very nice. She gave good directions and told me to call her back if we had any trouble.
