The manager gave me a key to someone else's room. The hotel was old and dirty. The free breakfast was to be heated on a nasty counter by the check in desk. I ended up staying at another old hotel in Sylva, NC. It was old but clean.

There are people living here weekly with small children that I am very concerned for. My husband viewed 3 rooms and not one of them qualifies as a 2 star.

Family Traveling with Young Children
The whole family is in road trip to North Carolina and this is the last stop before going back home. I always book our hotel stay on-line and never have I experienced problem booking but this. I was been told that the reservation was for 2 people only but I choose 2 double bed room coz I have children. Then the guy insisted me paying additional $20 if we decided to stay.I already paid the room so I can't cancel it.If I have known that I will be charged as much as this, I would choose a better-named hotel because I end paying a real 2 star hotel. ...

Dirty, 6 channel TV, drains clogged, cigarette hole in bed spread, person at check in desk could not take the time to get off the phone, breakfast consisted of a donut and coffee. Could not find the pool, ice machine, working beverage machine.

This hotel was very much a disappointment. Would not recommend to anyone. The hotel was run down and dirty. Not a place to take
family. Security of the hotel was very much questionable. Formal complaint was filed.
