Hotel Guest Reviews of the Kohls Ranch Lodge

Our hotel ratings and reviews are from real hotel guests. Priceline.com ensures that its reviews are guests-only by proactively sending hotel surveys to customers after they've completed their hotel stays. In the post-stay surveys, priceline.com hotel customers are asked a number of questions about their stay and the hotel. On a scale of 1-10 with 10 being the best, the survey asks guests to rate their overall experience and specifically rate the hotel's cleanliness, staff and location. Priceline.com does not allow site visitors to post unsolicited hotel reviews.

the distance away from Payson, Quiet
Disappointed in the Saloon / Steakhouse took 12min to be acknowledged by staff then another 2-3min to get shown a table. Food vs Cost for the price service should of been better plus a bit more portion of food

2 bedrm private cabin was awesome! We weren't aware of a hot tub on the back deck so that was an added surprise, very cozy and relaxing place.

It is beautiful in Payson AZ.

When I booked on Priceline I booked for a two room cabin with two king beds. What I actually got was a two room cabin with a QUEEN bed in one and a FULL bed in another. When I asked about this they said they have nothing to do with what Priceline advertises and it is just availability. We made it work but I felt someone gave me false advertise by. I loved it there but when you get what is advertised you should get it.... ...read more

The amenities of this great property exceeded my expectations; the staff was friendly and professional, the room spacious and clean, the bed comfortable; the location was great by being far enough away from the nearest towns.
I would have liked to been able to have breakfast at the hotel. A continental breakfast would have been nice; if the property's tavern/restaurant could have been open I and probably others would have eaten there. I did not want to drive into town.

Each room has a refrigerator/freezer, a microwave, a dishwasher, and a coffee maker. You might want to bring breakfast items.

The room was very clean & roomy.
Only one packet of regular coffee provided for the duration of your stay, no maid service or clean towels unless you stay 4 nights. No maid service was fine, but the towel thing was a bit much.

We really enjoyed our stay. The room was very rustic, clean & roomy. The bath area was small, but adequate. The entire hotel was very clean with lovely grounds and various activities. We'd definitely stay again, though I'd make sure I brought extra coffee & towels.

Location is in very quiet and you can hear wind through the pines all night
No outlets near the bed to charge a phone

Very nice if you don't mind a 15 minute drive to town.

The rooms were fully furnished with refrigerator, freezer, microwave, hair dryer, etc. Very comfortable King Sized bed, clean hot tub and swimming pool - comfortable temperatures in them. The staff were all extremely friendly and helpful and personable.
Well, it said no WiFi, but in fact, they do have routers, it's just that they aren't always reliable. So, I didn't bother to bring my laptop since it said no WiFi, and I wish I had brought it.

Excellent location for a variety of hikes in the area, and the fish hatchery. Extremely clean rooms and lobby, and very responsive staff to needs. Love the hot tub and pool. The restaurant is so-so for the price.

The staff were great and the surroundings are beautiful. There is a lot to do onsite.
The bathtub/shower was dirty (it had hair and other miscellaneous things in and around it). We did not use the bathtub or shower during our stay for this reason.

Courteous and friendly staff, especially Sam Choate. The kitchen was well equiped and very clean.
It would have been helpful to know that there are no stores nearby to get supplies. You have to go to Payson for that as well as for any restaurants.

It is a great place to go to for relaxation as well as for kids to spend their summer holidays.
