Hotel Guest Reviews of the La Copa Inn
Our hotel ratings and reviews are from real hotel guests. Priceline.com ensures that its reviews are guests-only by proactively sending hotel surveys to customers after they've completed their hotel stays. In the post-stay surveys, priceline.com hotel customers are asked a number of questions about their stay and the hotel. On a scale of 1-10 with 10 being the best, the survey asks guests to rate their overall experience and specifically rate the hotel's cleanliness, staff and location. Priceline.com does not allow site visitors to post unsolicited hotel reviews.April 11, 2013

My recommendation is to stay as far away from that dump as Possible. It makes me wonder why Priceline has them on line.

Priceline.com should not list this hotel as an selection. If Priceline.com has this room as acceptable, I would be scared to make another selection based on this experience.

Where to begin? Upon arriving the man working the desk could not find my reservation. Even after showing him my confirmation he kept me waiting while he spoke to himself and shuffled around for about 20 minutes. Meanwhile, it was quite late and I was exhausted. Finally, he gives me a key and when I open the door to my room I was completely dismayed. Not only it was dirty, but it smelled bad. I immediately turned on the fan and waved the door back in forth to air out the room. I thought about leaving, but I was so exhausted, the hassle seemed too much. I had a quandary about bringing my things inside as the room was just not clean. There were stains on the walls and two of the lamps were broken. Once I settled in I kept feeling like something was crawling on/biting me. I could be wrong (it may have been psychosomatic), but that is how it felt. Finally, to top off a rough night, promptly at check out the staff began beating on the door with fists and yelling that it was time to leave. Without a doubt the worst hotel I have stayed at in some time.

I felt that it was not family friendly because they had slot(gambling games) computers downstairs. Parking was only available on one side of the hotel. Our room was on the other side of the hotel and we had to leave our car on the other side of the hotel. There was mold on the ceiling. Duct tape was around a door inside the room. The bed sheets felt damp. We order a non smoking room and the room smelled nothing but cigarette smoke. We had to change rooms four times and the last room that was given to us someones belongings were in there. We were very unsatisfied. ...

Our first room the door was unlocked when we went to walk into. The bed was all messed up and smelled horrible. I had to go to the office and get another room. Mistake, I wish
I would have just left and went somewhere else. The room smelled of cigarettes and there was hair all in the bed. The comforter had blood on it and there was a used female product still in the trash can in the restroom. It was late so we just stripped the bed and laid our own blankets on the bed. Never again will I stay at that chain again. ...

The bed was very comfy, the tv had good reception and good line up of channels. Room had several issues though, for example, smoke alarm was covered with what seem toilet paper, the light in the bathroom did not always work, the vent in the bathroom was starting to give out, swimming pool was aweful, the water was cold, there were four chairs and one was broken, there was a table with four chair but one was broken, continental breakfast consisted of small box of assorted little donuts from HEB,but they did have coffee, one of the ice machine in the first floor did not work. ...

The lobby was converted to a gambling business, the pool was green and the pump wasn't functioning. The room was dirty, the linens were stained, there were ants on the vanity running around. The toilet didn't work and the ceiling dripped on us when we were taking a shower. There was a water roach climbing the wall the first morning. The free breakfast was a small container of Walmart donut holes in the lobby and low grade coffee.
