Hotel Guest Reviews of the La Quinta Inn Albany
Our hotel ratings and reviews are from real hotel guests. Priceline.com ensures that its reviews are guests-only by proactively sending hotel surveys to customers after they've completed their hotel stays. In the post-stay surveys, priceline.com hotel customers are asked a number of questions about their stay and the hotel. On a scale of 1-10 with 10 being the best, the survey asks guests to rate their overall experience and specifically rate the hotel's cleanliness, staff and location. Priceline.com does not allow site visitors to post unsolicited hotel reviews.May 12, 2012

It's tired and very much in need of some TLC.

We were told by friends that the rooms on the parking lot side would be quieter and the desk clerk had no problem accommodating us.

Sheets discolored, old with holes. Same with towels. Had to ask for towels to be put in the room. Room not made up. Bathroom door broken. Had to ask how to make the phone work. Curtains coming off the rods. Phone filthy.

The quality of the hotel is poor. The room smelled of smoke and was stale. We had to sleep with the window. Sheets did not fit on the bed. Very unhealthy options for breakfast-not even milk for coffee.

The rooms are small, but the bed is so comfortable. The breakfast room ran out of fresh fruit around 8:30 a.m. and was not restocked before it closed.

I would stay again provided I could get a room away from the busy road running next to the hotel. The bathroom space is also very small, but does meet all your needs and is clean.

The Saturday breakfast featured surprisingly good smokey bacon and sausage gravy w/ biscuits. My son enjoyed the waffles.

I was completely shocked at how much I would enjoy this hotel. Given it wasn't a luxury hotel it had everything and more that a luxury hotel offers, but they give it to you at
no charge! A real
plus is that you can walk not more than 100 yds to convenient mart, 3 fast food restaurants. The beds are extremely comfortable, the room wasn't fancy, but it was very clean. I easily could of stayed there a week and been quite happy and comfortable! ...
