Our hotel ratings and reviews are from real hotel guests. The front desk clerk Jessica and the free shuttle to the Port of Miami.
With the public area (lobby and breakfast area)had been a little larger.

We booked this hotel for the night before our cruise but we arrived very early because we took a redeye. The staff was very accommodating. They held out bags and let us swim until our rooms were ready. The hotel was very busy but Jessica at the front desk was amazing. She had a smile and a kind word for everyone I saw her talking to. When your outside, the planes are quite loud but I would stay here again just because of the way we were treated by the staff. ...read more

The staff were incredibly helpful & very nice
My reservation was for a non-smoking room but we were clearly given a smoking room. Also, the location is very hard to get too. The directions were not very good. We went around in circles trying to find it.

the shuttle service was good and frequent enough to make it convenient.
the vent in the bathroom was very loud. the sink was clogged. we were given a room with a lock that didn't work. the hotel had lots of maintenance problems that were not fixed. heavy smoke smell in hallways. I would not stay here again.

What we liked best about this hotel was the free shuttle to the port.
We didn't like that the free pick up from the airport ended right when our plane landed.

The hotel is the standard that you would expect for the price. Our room smelled smokey. Most people book this hotel because they are looking for free airport pick-up, free breakfast, and free shuttle to the port. We were not given any choice as to the time of the shuttle to the port. It seemed like all of the hotel's guests were in the small breakfast area at the same time so as to be on the 9:45 am. shuttle. We loaded our luggage on at 9:15 am., and then ate breakfast wherever we could find a seat. One employee told us the shuttle was at 9:45, and another told us it was at 10:00; so we asked again in the morning to make sure. We were told that it was at 10:00--when we went out early at 9:47 am., the bus was pulling away with our luggage on it! We had to run after it! We got to the port too early to be allowed on the ship, so then we sat in the lounge for an hour and a half until they began boarding. The port shuttle saves you money, but the crowding in the hotel breakfast area on the morning of the cruise creates a lot of stress. ...read more

Staff was super helpful! We especially liked that there was a shuttle to the Port of Miami and we didn't have to figure out how to get there some other way.
Breakfast selection was mostly carbs, didn't see any protien selections.

This is a great place to stay if you are flying in for a cruise. Rooms are nice, staff is helpful and the shuttle service is great!

Location was very close to Miami Airport and highway to get to Ft Lauderdale Everglades
It smelled awful-cigarette smoke stench-I have 2-children that are asthmatic-I have bronchitis and it was very difficult to breath in the halls. The room was freezing and we tried to alter temp with thermostat-slept with sweaters

this location is close to airport/highway but it doesn't compare to other La Quinta locations-I will not stay there again and reserved about suggesting La Quinta for future team travel events.

Location and shuttle service to the airport and port of miami excellent. Fee of $10 for the port shuttle. The Staff were nice and organized. Standard hotel.

Longer wait then expected for the second port shuttle in the morning, but got to the ship in plenty time. Phone calls were answered by a person, not a recording.

The hallway smelled of BO. Desk told us that people from nearby pizza places would sneak in and put flyers under doors. We ordered from one of these flyers and it was the worst food we ever had. Left expensive watch in room and have called three times
