Staff was helpful and friendly.
Matteress and pillows were soft. AC in room was adequate for March but I would wonder how it would handle Summer temps.

Would stay there again for the price I paid.

This was a nice surprise. I'm kind of a hotel snob and normally only stay in 4 star hotels. We needed to be close to the hospital and there were no 4 stars in the area. I chose this hotel because of the reviews and was pleasantly surprised. In addition to the friendly staff, good breakfast, and comfortable beds, the location was perfect! It was also a nice perk not to have to pay extra for our pet. I would definitely recommend this hotel to my friends and will stay here again if we need to go back to Port Arthur. ...read more

We would like to recommend Aguenetta front of house receptionist, for employee of the month for her patients in dealing with the many phone calls to sort out our problem of the room, when it was prepaid. It seems the hotel had only 2 rooms left when we checked in.

The staff was extremely friendly and helpful, the complimentary breakfast was also amazing.
BED BUGS!

While I was at the hotel my daughter and I had a fantastic time. The pool was refreshing, the hot tub was hot. The complimentary breakfast was amazing and the hotel had a new and clean feel to it. Unfortunately, I did not inspect for bed bugs prior to staying at the hotel. I had never actually known about them until I came home and within 2 days started itching everywhere. This is the only place I have traveled to and the only place I could have gotten them from. Now I'm having to pay for an exterminator and dealing with itching constantly and no sleep. ...read more

Loved the hotel & had the best bed I have slept in a long time.
It was hard to get to the hotel, Especially if you missed the exit off the freeway. Ice machine didn't work so had to go to lobby everytime wanted ice

I had a great stay. The hotel was very clean & comfortable

Front desk clerk was friendly.
The unclean room was very disappointing. This was unacceptable. I will no longer stay at any LaQuinta Hotels.

I would recommend
no longer use this hotel because it is unclean..
