My first room smelled very bad, the front desk person said that was the only room available and it was likely a smell coming from the hallway and not the room itself. Upon insisting for a new room, we were given one, the new room had no odors, the hotel in general was a dump! All of the carpets were stained, paint was falling off the walls, there was hair in the bathroom, the tub was stained, the elevator inspection certificate was expired, there was broken glass in the parking lot, etc, etc.

Staff was friendly and helpful, room was clean and well appointed. Location was perfect for us, visiting relatives on Fort Moultrie Lane.

The overall hotel was very nice well maintained and clean. The staff was friendly, and gave me a run down of the hotel so that I could find my room easily. The room was clean, and warm which was important because it was freezing outside when I stayed.
