Hotel Guest Reviews of the La Quinta Inn Cocoa Beach

Our hotel ratings and reviews are from real hotel guests. Priceline.com ensures that its reviews are guests-only by proactively sending hotel surveys to customers after they've completed their hotel stays. In the post-stay surveys, priceline.com hotel customers are asked a number of questions about their stay and the hotel. On a scale of 1-10 with 10 being the best, the survey asks guests to rate their overall experience and specifically rate the hotel's cleanliness, staff and location. Priceline.com does not allow site visitors to post unsolicited hotel reviews.

Room was terrible, horrible smell. There was a rainstorm and the room began to flood at the door. We had to evacuate early in the morning.
NOTHING

Would not recommend, I will be seeking a refund on this hote.

excellent location and pool was great
Phone did not work, reported it and the staff did not care. when I asked staff for help about towels they were a little rude. Carpets were filthy, feet were black after walking on carpets.

Floor is filthy, feet black after walking on it barefoot. Staff was not helpful. Beach access is across street, chose to drive instead of walking to beach. Pool area nice, lots of biting bugs at dusk at pool but that is typical of Florida.

The free breakfast, albeit basic, was a definite plus. The public spaces (pool area) look updated, nicely manicured, and well maintained.
The floors in the rooms of the hotel (carpet) leave much to be desired. Essentially, they were filthy. The stench of must in the first room was so bad that we asked to be moved. Although it smelled better the carpet was still filthy in the 2nd room.

I had to keep reminding myself what we were paying for this room so I wouldn't get upset. The carpets in the rooms need to be replaced. The sad thing is that they obviously put a lot into maintaining the public areas and exterior that I expected to walk into a meticulously cleaned and well kept room. Every time I opened a drawer, a closet door, or shower curtain, I was expecting to find a bug. Thankfully I didn't but the filthy carpets made me feel like the whole place was dirty. The only other thing I would mention is it is next to impossible to get the room temperature at a comfortable level. To make it feel not musty you had to leave the AC running the entire time which made the room way too cold for our liking. I had read the reviews before booking and was hoping that we would have a great experience. In the future, I would pay an extra $20 per night to stay in a hotel room that doesn't feel so damp and dirty. The sad thing is I think it would be a minimum investment to rip out those carpets and replace them with some sort of light colored bamboo laminate. It would make a WORLD of difference! ...read more

Hotel was great for the price. Staff was friendly and helpful. Location was great. Bar/restaurant upstairs had good food.

We wanted a cheap stay for one night near the ocean. It was perfect for the price. It was across the street from the ocean. We did have to walk about a block. The room was clean. Not too outdated. The staff was very friendly.

There wasn't any parking at the hotel when e got there because so many people were at the bar. I wanted one king size bet but got 2 double beds.

There is a bar and restraint at the hotel so don't expect to find a parking space when you get there.

The room was bright and clean. I was pleasantly surprised at the quality for the price.

This property is one block away from the beach, an easy and safe walk. There are restaurants within walking distance. The property is clean and well-kept with a nice pool. Overall a good value for the price.
