Hotel Guest Reviews of the La Quinta Inn Cocoa Beach
Our hotel ratings and reviews are from real hotel guests. Priceline.com ensures that its reviews are guests-only by proactively sending hotel surveys to customers after they've completed their hotel stays. In the post-stay surveys, priceline.com hotel customers are asked a number of questions about their stay and the hotel. On a scale of 1-10 with 10 being the best, the survey asks guests to rate their overall experience and specifically rate the hotel's cleanliness, staff and location. Priceline.com does not allow site visitors to post unsolicited hotel reviews.May 7, 2013

Floor is filthy, feet black after walking on it barefoot. Staff was not helpful. Beach access is across street, chose to drive instead of walking to beach. Pool area nice, lots of biting bugs at dusk at pool but that is typical of Florida.

I had to keep reminding myself what we were paying for this room so I wouldn't get upset. The carpets in the rooms need to be replaced. The sad thing is that they obviously put a lot into maintaining the public areas and exterior that I expected to walk into a meticulously cleaned and well kept room. Every time I opened a drawer, a closet door, or shower curtain, I was expecting to find a bug. Thankfully I didn't but the filthy carpets made me feel like the whole place was dirty. The only other thing I would mention is it is next to impossible to get the room temperature at a comfortable level. To make it feel not musty you had to leave the AC running the entire time which made the room way too cold for our liking. I had read the reviews before booking and was hoping that we would have a great experience. In the future, I would pay an extra $20 per night to stay in a hotel room that doesn't feel so damp and dirty. The sad thing is I think it would be a minimum investment to rip out those carpets and replace them with some sort of light colored bamboo laminate. It would make a WORLD of difference! ...

We wanted a cheap stay for one night near the ocean. It was perfect for the price. It was across the street from the ocean. We did have to walk about a block. The room was clean. Not too outdated. The staff was very friendly.

There is a bar and restraint at the hotel so don't expect to find a parking space when you get there.

This property is one block away from the beach, an easy and safe walk. There are restaurants within walking distance. The property is clean and well-kept with a nice pool. Overall a good value for the price.
