Business Traveler
The room was a smoking room, and they only had smoking rooms upon arrival. The cleaning staff had left 2 old washclothes hanging over the shower curtain rod and a used bar of soap in the sink area. I had to leave my luggage in the car due to the room oder, and I constantly wore my socks due to the condition of the carpet.

Denny's is almost adjacent to the lobby. Staff is friendly and helpful and rooms are kept clean and repaired. It's about midway between the eastern outskirts and downtown.

Business Traveler
Room was just OK. My remote control for the TV did not work. I told the manager and they said, they'd tend to it. After two days, when I left it still didn't work. The hotel would not give me a zero balance check-out bill when I left. This is the first time in years a hotel wouldn't do that. They weren't that interested in accommodating me. The hotel bill is my proof of stay for my company. I wasn't happy with them. They didn't seem to care. ...

Couple
Right next to highway I-10 very easy to get to downtown Houston which is where we are going. There is a Denny's right next door (24hrs) and a Burger king. Stayed there one night it worked out good. Clean rooms, bathroom and breakfast area in the hotel lobby.

I would give this hotel and overall good rating. The staff that checked us in was not very friendly at all and other than the roach in the bathtub, it was a pleasant stay.

Family Traveling with Young Children
We were traveling with older and younger children. The hotel was safe, neat, clean, and comfortable. Breakfast was continental-nice and convenient. I recommend this for a family trip.
