Rooms are large and clean, good breakfast spread in the mornings, and has direct shuttle to Universa
Shuttle service only picks up at the hotel at 8:45 am and brings you back from Universal at 7:30 pm, not a revolving shuttle with several pick-up & drop-off times throughout the day

Room was nice. Clean. Public areas very nice. Breakfast very nice. Location good. Price great!
No complaint. Too cool to use swimming pool.

Much better than average. Good location next to Universal Studios. Friendly staff. Good breakfast. Quiet.

This hotel was an awesome value. It was small and very quiet. The continental breakfast was delicious, and the location was a beautiful 15 minute walk to Universal Studios.

The staff at this hotel was fabulous. We knew nothing about the area and they were awesome about calling taxis, advising us about the trolley, providing shuttles, etc. We had a fabulous stay!

Great location. Walking distance to Universal. Beautiful lobby with a nice complimentary breakfast.

Great location. The hotel had a free shuttle to the park, but we chose to walk. It was a lovely 15 minute walk to Universal. The rooms were very nice and clean. The complimentary breakfast was very good.

The hotel and room had a funny smell and it was obvious the bedding as old.

Not bad. Excellent location. Maybe bring some air freshener cause the room smelled a little funny but worth it for a short stay

La Quintas are consistently clean and in good repair. This one was no exception. Very dog-friendly which we needed. Good, central location near hospital (the reason for our trip) and good restaurants.
The dog in the next room began barking at six am when the owners left and kept it up constantly until they returned, usually in mid-evening.

I like that the room had a mini fridge and a microwave in it. The tv was a nice size for the room. The room was clean.
The beds I thought was suppose to be 2 queen size but they seem more like full size beds. And the iron didnt get hot at all but was exchanged with no problem. Also I think that they should have better choices as fas as the breakfast is concerned.

Nice....clean and very close to everything. The customer service at the front desk was very NICE.

Just after checking in there was a cockroach in the room. The carpet was dirty, warn, and had cigarette burns holes. I would not stay there again.

The location from restaurants,malls and other places of interest.
I thought that there would be more on the breakfast bar.

The location could not be beat for the price, front desk personnel were very friendly, room was ok.
The noise level was a bit overboard, I could hear full conversations next door. The shuttle service was horrible.,

Location was great, price was reasonable, but could be lower. The hotel staff were friendly and as accommodating as can be expected. The room smelled like someone had smoked in it but was covering the smell with lysol or a similar product. The included room amenities were sub-par, internet rarely worked. The common spaces were very clean, well kept, and looked very inviting. We used the shuttle service to Universal Studios and turned out to get ripped off because the driver never showed up to the pick-up site. Because of the proximity of the hotel to Universal, it was just as feasible to catch a cab or walk. It was great to have a space for our dog too. ...read more
